Job Title: Academy Football Head Coach

The Club  

Gulf United are the fastest-growing football academy in Dubai. Our First Team currently are in UAE Division 1 after achieving back-to-back promotions in title winning seasons. We pride ourselves in creating realistic pathways for players through the power of football.  

We coach players from the age of 4 all the way up to professional football. With the transient nature of Dubai, we are aware that for some players the pathways aren’t possible so we try to positively affect young lives and create life-long memories. 

We are a family club that focus on football development and human development. We strive to create a positive environment where our players can develop their footballing skills alongside the important life skills that are learned in a sports team.

Role Description(s):  

Academy Head Coach responsibilities 

• Liase with players and parents  

• Management of administrative elements of the academy  

• Management of operational elements of the academy  

• Management of all football related elements of the academy  

• Management of coaching staff  

• Management of equipment  

• Oversee CPD of the coaches   

• Oversee session plans of the academy coaches  

• Liaise with management team on all of the above  

• Maintain the overall high standards of the Academy  

 

Academy Coach responsibilities 

Must:  

• Deliver high quality football sessions   

• Aid the development of the players  

• Attend CPD Events delivered by other members of the club 

• To plan & support the delivery of coaching sessions in the Foundation Phase (Under U11), Youth Development Phase (U12 to U16), Professional Development Phase (U16+).  

• To provide environments and challenges that maximise the potential of all players, develop personal growth and provide life enriching experiences and memories that last a lifetime.  

• To select teams for the matchdays on the weekend  

• To support, guide and give appropriate game time to players on match day   

• To provide feedback for players during and after sessions  

• To provide feedback to parents/ guardians  

• To have good retention in terms of attendance and termly   

• To demonstrate and promote high standards of personal and professional standards both on and off the pitch.  

• To continue with CPD and maintain/develop relevant qualifications.  

 

May need:   

• To lead trips and tours nationally and abroad.  

• To manage & support part time and casual staff members  

  

Applicants must hold the following:  

• FA Level 3/ UEFA B or equivalent and higher 

• At least 5 years experience in football coaching  

• Enhanced DBS/Police Check, Safeguarding Children & First Aid qualifications  

• Effective & efficient communication skills  

• Good organisational skills  

 

Job Details  

All successful applicant will receive a working visa, full training & induction, full adidas training wear and full equipment.  

Job Type: Full-time  

Hours: 40 per week (20 coaching, 20 office hours)  

Days: 5.5 per week   

Salary: 12,000 –15,000 AED per month ($3267-$4084) Dependent on experience
