Account Development Executive

 

Description:

We are the team that is responsible for customer account development enabling us to sell various services offered by the organization. Although our primary responsibility is to drive sales for the Retail Index portfolio, however, as generalist sales team, we are also responsible for opening commercial discussions for all other verticals led by the specialist sales team.

Given the target group are established customers, the best route to market is via consultative selling approach i.e., guide the customers on what & how different NIQ tools can be beneficial against their business priorities.

This position is responsible for supporting the account development team of the Global 16 customer group. One of the key roles this recruit will perform is to analyze the various NIQ data sources and develop material showcasing market trends, whitespace opportunities, establishing through the data how various NIQ solutions can be beneficial for the customer. Additionally, the recruit will support the team in other sales-related activities.

Job Purpose
 

  • Support the commercial team in driving sales across the G16 customer group.
  • Support the commercial team in developing customer relationships.
     

Responsibilities
 

  • Support the commercial team in driving sales.

  • Develop various reports & presentations to showcase market trends, whitespace opportunities & establish need for various NIQ solutions through insights.
  • Analyze & interpret various NIQ data sources.
  • Summarize data in tables, charts, graphs, and presentations.
  • Learn NIQ proprietary tools such as Discover.
  • Manage internal stakeholders for example commercial, customer success, report center etc.

Qualifications
 

  • University degree in Business, Marketing & Sales, or related, preferred Postgraduate
  • Knowledge of using Excel & PowerPoint, preferred Power BI
  • Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
  • Strong communication skills & visualization skills – interested in storytelling techniques.
  • Business acumen and good knowledge of the market dynamics
  • Comfortable working in a digital-enabled environment
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
