Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Handle invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation processes.
  • Monitor shipping expenses and ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams for cost tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime and shipping regulations in financial documentation.
  • Doing audits and VAT and provide support for financial decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, cost allocation, and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
