Description:

We’re Hiring: Accountant – Dubai, UAE

• Job Details:
• Location: Dubai or Sharjah, UAE*
• Salary: Up to 6,000 AED (based on experience)*

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Statements & Reporting:

• Prepare and review Trial Balance on a monthly basis.
• Generate and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and other financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets and cash flow statements.

Accounting Entries & Reconciliation:

• Record daily accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform cross-entries and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and intercompany transactions.

VAT & Compliance:

• Prepare and file VAT returns on time, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Keep updated with VAT laws and implement necessary changes in accounting processes.
• Assist in tax audits and statutory filings.

. General Accounting & Operations:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Monitor expenses, manage invoices, and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with auditors and provide required financial data.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
• Experience in handling audits and financial compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and cost control is an advantage.
