Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
• More than 08 years’ experience in a similar field/ position
• Working experiences as an external auditor in UAE is preferred
• In-depth understanding of International Accounting Standard (IFRS)
• Relevant certification (e.g. CPA and ACCA)
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot table
• Excellent English spoken and written skills.
• Advanced knowledge in accounting systems (SAP and Xero)
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and complete monthly closing procedures to generate balance sheet, profit and loss and other financial statements.
• Account reconciliation, related party balances, revenue recognition, ageing of receivables and payables, depreciation, prepayments, and provisions.
• Assists & provides External Auditors of financial statements & other documents and perform process required throughout the period of Audit.
• Maintaining Fixed Asset Register, Physical Counting of Asset and Reconciliation with system, Transfer and Disposal of Asset.
• Reconciliation of All GL accounts.
• Responsible for corporate tax returns filing, registration and assisting the tax audits.
• Internal Control Policies and procedures improvement in accordance with COSO frameworks.
• Coordinate with the auditor for the preparation of ICV requirements.
• Accounting of Petty cash and replenish petty cash floats.
• Verifying expense claims of employees & payment of the same.
• Verify the expense claim journal entries passed by Accountant /Accounts Assistant.
• Forwarding details of employee deduction to Payroll accountant on a timely basis.
• Guides Site Petty Cash Admin’s to record and submit expense claims routinely.
