Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, contributing to accurate financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Transactions:
· Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
· Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.
· Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
2. Bank Reconciliation:
· Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness of financial data.
· Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
3. Payroll Management:
· Process and manage payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
· Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
· Stay updated on payroll tax regulations and ensure compliance.
4. Financial Reporting:
· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by management.
5. Audit Support:
· Collaborate with the audit team to provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.
· Ensure compliance with audit recommendations and implement improvements.
6. Tax Compliance:
· Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
· Stay informed about changes in tax laws and their impact on the organization.
7. Vendor and Customer Relations:
· Communicate effectively with vendors and customers regarding payment and invoicing inquiries.
· Address and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Final Attempted.
· Previous experience (Min. 3 years) in an accounting or finance role.
· Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Excel.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment and changing priorities.
