Description:
We are looking for a skilled Accountant with a strong background in real estate and finance to manage all accounting-related tasks within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the real estate sector in the UAE, coupled with excellent financial acumen and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and expense claims, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and documentation, organizing and archiving files as necessary.
- Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify variances, trends, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with annual audits and tax filings, liaising with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Stay updated on industry developments, accounting standards, and best practices, integrating relevant changes into existing processes.
- Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information, maintaining high ethical standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant in the real estate sector in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage), Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous process improvement.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
