Description:
We are looking for a skilled and well-experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role will provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements and reporting. Responsibilities
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Prepare bank reconciliation report on a weekly, monthly basis or as need arises.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Prepare customer receivable ageing
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Prepare suppliers’ payments with complete ageing.
- Suppliers’ reconciliation
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Assist on the monthly closing (making sure that GRN, DO & Landed cost reports are all closed)
- Assist in the preparation of requirements needed by the external audit
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure that the company’s management principles, policies and programs are consistently practiced.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as an Accountant within the trading or distribution industry.
- Proficiency in SAP B1 software is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken & written, Arabic is a plus.
