Hiring Accountant (Mid Level)
Job responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations for local and foreign accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Handle data entry tasks, including recording financial transactions, invoices, and expenses.
- Conduct payable analysis to monitor outstanding balances, track payment schedules, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing cash management strategies.
- Maintain document management systems to organize and securely store financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and present financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, adhering to relevant accounting standards.
- Check and provide profit and loss (P&L) analysis on each shipment during initial and completion stages, assessing financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Facilitate bank transfers to suppliers, manage logistics charges, and handle foreign currencies, ensuring accurate and efficient payment processing.
- Manage trade finance-related tasks, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and export/import documentation.
- Handle KYC processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain tax-related records and file monthly excise returns, as well as handle quarterly VAT filings.
- Supervise all financial transactions, ensuring adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Manage data entries for the Singapore branch, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Assist in fund management activities, including monitoring investment portfolios and optimizing returns.
- Coordinate and assist with financial audits, providing necessary support and documentation to auditors.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads to gather information and ensure accuracy.
- Implement cost control measures and identify areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
- Monitor expenses and review procurement processes to optimize spending.
- Provide guidance and training to finance and accounting staff on financial processes, systems, and best practices.
- Minimum – 4 to 5 years U.A.E. Experience
- Relevant qualification in accounts
- Salary – Totally depends on last salary
- Preferred who can join immediately or minimum notice period
