Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts cum Admin position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves managing accounts, providing administrative support, handling customer service inquiries, and overseeing account management responsibilities.
Accounting Responsibilities:
1. Bookkeeping & Financial Records:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Recording day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Managing the company’s general ledger and ensuring proper reconciliation.
2. Invoicing & Billing:
- Preparing and issuing invoices to clients for services rendered.
- Following up on outstanding payments and managing accounts receivable.
- Processing payments to suppliers and handling accounts payable.
3. Payroll Management:
- Preparing payroll, ensuring correct salary calculations, deductions, and payments.
- Handling employee reimbursements, overtime, and other payroll-related transactions.
4. Financial Reporting:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Assisting with audit preparation and providing necessary documentation.
5. Tax & Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with local tax laws, including VAT/GST, corporate taxes, and filing necessary returns.
- Managing tax documentation and assisting with tax audits.
Administrative Responsibilities:
1. Office Management:
- Managing day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organized work environment.
- Handling office communications (emails, calls) and managing office supplies.
- Scheduling meetings, appointments, and maintaining the office calendar.
2. Documentation & Filing:
- Maintaining office records and files, including financial and administrative documents.
- Ensuring that documents are properly organized and kept secure.
3. Vendor & Quotation Management:
- Requesting and reviewing quotations from vendors for office supplies, services, and equipment.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of goods/services.
4. Support in Financial Admin Tasks:
- Assisting in maintaining records of company assets and expenditures.
- Handling petty cash and tracking small office expenses.
HR Support (If applicable):
1. Employee Records:
- Maintaining basic HR records such as attendance, leave management, and personal files.
- Assisting with onboarding new employees by preparing documents and setting up office supplies.
2. Payroll Support:
- Supporting payroll processing and ensuring accurate salary payments.
Key Skills Required:
- Knowledge of accounting principles and software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally,Zoho).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
