Hiring Accounts Officers to join our team for offices in Dubai and Sharjah.
Below is a detailed job description for the role:
Cash Management:
- Ensure timely accounting of all DP’s & GIS receipts within a turnaround time of 2 working days.
- Clear DP receipt confirmations within 2 days and conduct daily reviews.
- Maintain an updated inward register to prevent misplacement of cheques and ensure timely allocations to insurers and customers/agents.
- Review and reconcile retail policies daily, addressing any open receipts or cancellation credit notes.
- Keep unallocated RB’s or DPs below 4 million by month close, with unadjusted credits not exceeding 10-15 million across locations.
- Handle miscellaneous activities such as reviewing and addressing PPW breaches, cheque returns, POD trackers, and PA approvals.
Collections:
- Monitor and clear motor & non-motor outstanding balances within 30-60 days, ensuring medical balances are collected by their due dates.
- Update the weekly collection tracker for Monday review meetings and categorize ageing balances based on status.
- Limit over 365 days balances to legal cases or non-operating accounts.
- Respond to insurers promptly with payment details for Suspension/Cancellation notices.
- Conduct monthly meetings with agents to review their accounts and document discussions on pending due balances and collection commitments.
- Monitor the Credit Control Team Mailbox regularly.
- Send monthly/weekly SOAs for Medical & Non-Medical accounts to customers/agents.
Reconciliations:
- Complete 100% reconciliation of outstanding balances between insurer books and GIS books quarterly and update the Weekly Collection tracker accordingly.
- Secure balance confirmations from agents and direct accounts quarterly for reconciled accounts.
- Process Improvement, Ownership & Initiatives:
- Share suggestions and initiatives for process improvements during Weekly CC meetings.
- Proactively manage escalations from agents, inter-departments, and customers by responding promptly and taking timely actions. Multiple escalations may impact performance.
