Admin/store Keeper

 

Description:

Rotate stock to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize waste.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the storage area.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory, purchase orders, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and operations, to provide the necessary support.

Documentation and Record-Keeping:

  • Accurately record all inventory transactions, including stock receipts, transfers, and usage.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of purchase orders, invoices, and other related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding documentation and record-keeping.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and stock availability.
  • Collaborate with the management team to address any inventory-related issues and propose solutions.
  • Coordinate with various departments within the restaurant to fulfill their inventory needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or related roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders effectively.
  • Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues from various departments and contributing to a positive team environment.
