Description:
Rotate stock to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize waste.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the storage area.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to inventory, purchase orders, and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and operations, to provide the necessary support.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Accurately record all inventory transactions, including stock receipts, transfers, and usage.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of purchase orders, invoices, and other related documents.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding documentation and record-keeping.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and stock availability.
- Collaborate with the management team to address any inventory-related issues and propose solutions.
- Coordinate with various departments within the restaurant to fulfill their inventory needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or related roles within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders effectively.
- Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues from various departments and contributing to a positive team environment.
