Ai/ml Engineer

Description:

We're looking for capable and committed AI/ML Engineers to help us build a prototype that extracts key information from architectural drawings. This is a unique opportunity to join at ground level, help shape a product that solves real-world problems, and be part of something meaningful from day one.

Role: AI/ML Engineer – Computer Vision / OCR (Remote | Part-Time/Flexible)

Scope of Work:

• Develop a working prototype that processes a single PDF architectural floor plan
• Extract and calculate basic spatial measurements (length, width, area)
• Use OCR, computer vision, or any method you believe is most efficient
• Output results in a structured format (CSV, JSON, Excel)
• Push all code to GitHub with regular commits and clear documentation

Ideal Candidate Has:

• 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML, with practical delivery under their belt
• Strong skills in Python and libraries like OpenCV, Tesseract, etc.
• Experience working with floor plans, scanned PDFs, or architectural data (a big plus)
• Familiarity with construction tech (preferred but not required)
• Self-starter mindset with a bias toward execution and problem-solving
