Description:
Urgent requirement for Alternate compliance officer.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a reputable bank or exchange house in UAE.
Relevant experience (AML/KYC/Compliance related) with understanding of CBUAE Regulations.
CAMS/CFE or any other AML Compliance certification preferable. Advanced Excel and data analytics skills
Job Discription:
- Assist Compliance officer to establish and maintain appropriate AML/CFT policies, procedures, processes and controls.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining the AML/CFT policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that the exchange complies with the AML Law and any other applicable AML/CFT regulations.
- Ensuring day-to-day compliance of the business against internal AML/CFT policies and procedures.
- Responding promptly to any reasonable request for information if made by the Anti-Money Laundering Unit of the Central Bank of UAE.
- Acting as the main point of contact in respect of handling internal suspicious transactions reports from the staff and as the main contact FIU the Central bank of UAE and other concerned bodies regarding AML/CFT.
- Making external suspicious transactions reports to the FIU. Taking reasonable steps to establish and maintain adequate arrangements for staff awareness and training on AML/CFT matters (whether internal or external).
- Ongoing monitoring of transactions to identify high risk, unusual and suspecious transactions, and ensuring that transaction monitoring sytems are appropriate and functioning as designed.
- Preparing Bi-Annual compliance reports on the effectiveness of the Exchange’s AML / CFT controls.
- Maintaining all necessary KYC, CDD, and EDD, transactions, STR and staff training records for the required periods.
- Coordination with foreign banks regarding compliance queries corporate transaction.
- Preparation of corporate file for the corporate customers.
- Submit STR, SAR and other reports types to FIU in the absence of compliance officer
