Responsibilities:

🚢 Perform aluminium welding tasks on marine vessels, ensuring high-quality welds.

🛠️ Interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications to execute welding projects accurately.

🔍 Inspect welded joints for defects and perform necessary repairs to meet quality standards.

🔧 Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools and machinery in good working condition.

📋 Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

🤝 Collaborate with team members, including engineers and fabricators, to achieve project goals. 📈 Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in welding operations. 💬 Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and prioritize work.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an aluminium Welder in a shipbuilding or marine fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in aluminium welding techniques, including TIG and MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to welding operations.
• Welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.2) preferred but not required.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
