Ambulatory Care Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival at the outpatient facility.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, vital signs, and chief complaints.
• Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Provide patient education on managing health conditions, medication instructions, and preventive care measures.
• Perform minor medical procedures such as wound care, suture removal, and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and referrals.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
• Assist with the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Participate in patient follow-up, including phone calls, medication reconciliation, and care coordination.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy according to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license in UAE
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
• Certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing (RN-BC) preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on the facility's scope of practice.
