Api Inspector

 

Description:

Routine and Scheduled Inspections Conduct Inspections: Perform regular inspections of plant equipment and infrastructure,

including pressure vessels, storage tanks, pipelines, and compressors, to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.

Inspect Equipment: Evaluate the condition of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
 

  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Apply NDT Methods: Utilize techniques such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing,
     

magnetic particle testing, and dye penetrant testing to detect and assess material defects and structural integrity.

Review NDT Reports: Analyze and interpret NDT reports to determine the condition of equipment and identify any necessary corrective actions.
 

  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence Ensure Compliance: Verify that all equipment and operations comply with industry
     

standards, regulatory requirements, and internal safety protocols. Review Documentation: Ensure that all relevant documentation, including Inspection Test

Plans (ITP) and procedures, is accurate and up-to-date. o Maintenance and Repair Oversight Recommend Repairs: Identify maintenance needs and recommend repairs or replacements

based on inspection findings. Supervise Repairs: Oversee repair activities to ensure they are completed according to

specifications and standards. o Testing and Verification Conduct Pressure Testing: Oversee hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests to verify the

integrity of pressure-containing equipment. Verify Calibration: Ensure that testing equipment and instruments are properly calibrated

and functioning correctly. o Documentation and Reporting Prepare Reports: Document inspection results, findings, and recommendations in detailed

reports. Maintain Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, maintenance

activities, and compliance documentation. o Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Support Inspect New Equipment: Perform inspections on new installations and equipment before

they are commissioned to ensure they meet required standards. Witness Start-Up: Oversee the start-up and initial operation of new systems to verify proper

functionality.

Required Qualifications: o Diploma or Degree o API 510 & 570 (Mandatory) o ASNT Level II (UT, MT, PT, RT & VT) o CSWIP

Experience Level: o 7+ Years as an API inspector with gulf experience. o In - service inspection (Mandatory ) o Experience in OIL & Gas & Refinery only. o Familiar with LNG process Package: o Position : Plant Inspector o Work Location : Das Island (LNG Plant) o Full Package : 10,000 AED (Same Package to be paid during the off cycle ) o Ticket : Provided by company o Leave cycle : Rotation work cycle 60 days on-site/30 days off-site o Weekly work : 7 days o Daily work : 8 hours (During Ramadan Time according to the client work program) o Accommodation : Provided o Messing : Provided o Transportation : Provided o Accommodation/Transportation during crew change : Provided o The offer breakdown will be given by HRD according to the grading system.
