Application Engineer

Description:

Will be reporting directly to sales manager, to help sales team promote sales and exploit the market for assigned segment of business and contribute to meeting the segments' objective.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities:

·      Study & interpret project specifications & schedules.

·      Take-off / estimate / price main and miscellaneous items from assigned product lines through the supply chain.

·      Selection, pricing and preparing quotations as per specification and BOQ received, for assigned products.

·      Prepare compliance statement and submittals as per project requirement.

·   Correspond with principals/OEM for technical clarifications, compliance, and submittal.

·      Preparation of quote for design jobs for assigned products.

·      Co-ordinate with installation contractors for installation and commissioning of assigned products.

·      Preparation and maintenance of project files and data base.

·      Providing necessary technical support to the sales engineers.

Skills and Experience:

·      Up to 3-5 years of experience on Application Role to support Sales engineers on HVAC products.

·      Experience in HVAC products

·      Degree in relevant branch of Engineering or equivalent technical qualification

·      Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Excel, MS Power Point, Word. AutoCAD, Carrier HAP design Software.

·      Strong understanding and work exposure in engineering and construction industry within the region

·      Familiar with International Air conditioning Standards such as AHRI, ISO, Euro vent, ESMA

·      In depth Knowledge of Psychometric, PH Diagram, HVAC Selection Software’s

·      Computer literate

·      Working proficiency in AutoCAD

·      Must have a strong knowledge of the market.

·      Effective communication, negotiation and selling skills.
