Application Support Engineer

Description:

Very good hands-on knowledge on supporting web-based applications with technologies viz .Net, JavaScript.

Good knowledge on Intranet, Websites, Content Management and Trouble shooting skills.

Very good Knowledge in Oracle/MS SQL - SQL & Stored Procedure.

Basis knowledge in PowerShell, Unix commands and Active Directory for trouble shooting.

Knowledge in SharePoint portal maintenance is an added advantage.

A. Education

IT based degree, university degree, or equivalent work experience required.

B. Experiences

6+ years of experience at a relevant Technical position in large organizations

Preferred: Banking background

C. Knowledge & Skills

• Experience in Application production support within the ITIL Framework.

• Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in

o Application trouble shooting, configuration and maintenance.

o Application performance tuning and optimization

o Resolution of tickets with quality and within SLA

o Proactive monitoring and incidents analysis

o Experience in Work flow maintenance and Configuration.

• Very good hands-on knowledge on SharePoint administration.

• Good knowledge in web technologies viz C#.Net, JavaScript.

• Good knowledge in other Content Management Systems viz SiteCore, Wordpress etc.

• Good understanding of MS Azure and Active Directory (AD).

• Very good Knowledge in Oracle/MS SQL - SQL & Stored Procedure

• Hands on experience in PowerShell and Unix commands

Preferred:

• Good knowledge of Open source applications/application components

• Good knowledge of application licensing
