Reporting to:              Senior Manager - Projects (Civil)

Job Purpose: To prepare drawings based on details and specifications.

Key Responsibility Areas:

• Responsible and accountable for drafting concept drawings as directed
• Responsible and accountable for preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems as directed
• Responsible for performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• Responsible for communicating with Project Manager and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
• Responsible and accountable for identifying and communicating potential design problems as necessary
• Responsible for adhering to the schedule of preparing the drawings
• Responsible for visiting the construction sites of the company projects as directed
• Responsible to provide value addition on preparation of drawings.
• Responsible for taking and check prints and reduce wastage of stationery.
• Responsible for maintaining the records properly

Competencies Required:

• Ability to understand the nature of the project while drafting the drawings
• Good in free hand drawing
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Ability to respond well to constructive feedback and maintain a positive attitude.

Educational Qualification:

Diploma or Degree in Architectural Engineering

Experience:

5 -7 years of relevant experience
