Assistant Animal Trainer

Description:

Apt Resources is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Animal Trainer to work at a prestigious Royal Palace. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of animals and assist in their training and enrichment.

You will be responsible for assisting the Head Animal Trainer with various tasks, including but not limited to the following:
 

• Assist in training animals for specific behaviors and performances
• Prepare and organize training sessions and activities
• Monitor the health and well-being of the animals and report any concerns to the Head Animal Trainer
• Assist in implementing enrichment programs to stimulate the animals' physical and mental activity
• Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in animal enclosures and training areas
• Assist in conducting demonstrations and shows for guests
   

Requirements
 

• Prior experience working with and training animals
• Knowledge of animal behavior and learning theories
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle and control animals safely
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
• Passion for animal welfare and conservation
