We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team in the leisure and entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial management, business development, and operations, with specific experience in the leisure and entertainment field. Hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Lead business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, negotiating contracts, and cultivating partnerships to expand our market presence.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including facility management, staffing, and guest services, to ensure a seamless and memorable customer experience.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and excellence among team members, promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial management, business development, and operations, preferably in the leisure and entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, achieving targets, and developing successful business strategies.
- Strong understanding of the leisure and entertainment market, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to take on new challenges.
