Description:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant HR Manager to join our team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing blue-collar workforce dynamics and a thorough understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance, fostering employee relations, and supporting the HR Manager in various HR functions.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for blue-collar workers.
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and UAE labor laws.
Advise management on employee relations matters, ensuring fair treatment and compliance with labor regulations.
Handle disciplinary actions and grievance procedures in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Conduct regular training sessions on labor laws, workplace safety, and HR policies for employees and supervisors.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, leaves, and other HR-related data for reporting and compliance purposes.
Collaborate with the HR Manager to develop and update HR policies and procedures to meet evolving organizational needs.
Monitor and ensure adherence to health, safety, and welfare regulations applicable to blue-collar workers.
Support the performance management process, including appraisals, goal setting, and career development plans.
Stay updated on changes in UAE labor laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR professional with specific exposure to managing blue-collar employees in the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws, employment practices, and regulatory requirements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Human Resources.
Previous experience working in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or logistics.
