Assistant Instructor

Kumon is a globally recognized learning program that focuses on developing strong academic foundations in children. Our center is dedicated to helping students excel in math and reading by fostering self-learning skills.

**Role and Responsibilities:**
As an Assistant Instructor at our Kumon Learning Center, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning journey of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the lead instructor in conducting Kumon lessons for students aged 6-15.
- Providing individualized guidance and support to students as they work through their assignments.
- Monitoring student progress and identifying areas where additional help is needed.
- Maintaining a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Grading and checking student assignments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicating with parents / guardians about student progress and addressing any concerns.
- Assisting in administrative tasks such as record-keeping and maintaining a clean and organized learning space.
- Collaborating with the lead instructor to develop and implement effective strategies.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong Maths skills (proficient in algebra and calculus concepts). Applicants should include “Math” in the subject line of the email.

- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from the lead instructor.
- Fluent in English.
- Female candidate with her own valid visa.
- Knowledge of the Kumon program and its methodologies is a plus.
