Dubai Holding is looking to hire an Assistant Manager – Internal Audit reporting to the Director – Internal Audit. The role holder will be responsible to conduct risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, examine and evaluate the Group’s internal control systems, verify compliance with policies, identify areas for improvement and formulate recommendations to enable the mitigation of any risks in a timely manner.

Key Accountabilities:
- Supports the execution of the audit plan and other initiatives based on importance and to ensure the critical and major areas are audited on priority.
- Contribute to the risk assessment process by identifying existing and emerging risks and internal controls within the Group and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Conduct meetings with auditees to identify and understand all aspects of internal controls, procedures, policies and practices and generate the relevant reports as required.
- Conduct internal audit activities (as per DH Internal Audit manual) including areas such as operational processes (leasing, facility management, retail), back-office processes (Finance, Procurement, HR, Marketing etc.) depending on risks identified, and highlight non-conformances and facilitate their prompt mitigation.
- Support process owners in developing suitable corrective/preventive actions in response to the Internal Audits areas of non-compliance in order to enable quick correction and mitigation of further occurrences.
- Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions identified to ensure they are corrected on time and to keep the line manager informed of any discrepancies or delays.
- Complete the day-to-day activities assigned by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to audit clients and maintaining standards of excellence.
Who we are looking for:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience of internal and/or external audit, preferably in the Leasing, Retail or Asset Management business or within the “Big 4”.
- Previous experience within one of the “Big 4” preferred.
