The Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager (Corporate) to join our proactive Sales & Marketing team. The ideal candidate should have hospitality background and meet other job requirements below.
Responsibilities
- Maintain long-term business relationships
- Proactively finding opportunities for business growth by securing existing business, development of portfolio by acquiring new accounts further ensuring repeat business
- Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
- Analyze local market trends and develop new business leads
- Maximize all Revenue opportunities
- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments’ adherence to achieving that strategy
- Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
- Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities
- Attend Sales Networking events when required
- Report on a weekly/monthly basis appointments, calls made, and list of business leads
- Answer customer queries in a timely and suitable manner
Qualifications
- Demonstrated abilities working in other departments of the hotel
- Demonstrated potential to acquire such management skills such as developing sales strategy plan
- Proven ability to identify market trends
- Sales hospitality background required
