Description:
We are looking for a competent Sound Engineer to join Events Management Company, As a Sound Engineer, you will be responsible for assembling, operating and maintaining the technical equipment used to record, amplify, enhance, mix or reproduce sound. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining audio equipment, enhancing audio with appropriate sound effects, fixing sound-related issues, working with producers, singers, and other musicians, and completing projects to specifications.
Sound Engineer duties and responsibilities
- Perform duties assigned by directors, producers etc
- Set up, maintain and regularly inspect sound equipment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of video editors, lighting experts, cameramen etc.
- Set up and test sound equipment before occasions, events, broadcasts or recordings.

- Record, edit, mix or reproduce musical recording with instruments, vocals and so on.

- Improve sound quality and add sound effects to all recordings.

- Collaborate with video editors to synchronize video with recorded soundtracks.

- Work smoothly with Sound Engineering Technicians.

- Play tracks with some special effects amidst live occasions.

- Work with lighting, cameraman and other co-workers efficiently.

- Create and manage sound and audio libraries.

- Resolve technical issues when they emerge.

- Follow details, guidelines, and instructions from executives, producers and so forth.

Sound Engineer requirements and qualifications
- X years of experience as a Sound Engineer or similar role
- X years of experience with sound engineering, recording and editing methods and equipment
- Hands on experience with sound recording and editing software
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- BA in audio or sound engineering or similar relevant field
