Audio Visual Support Technician

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Audio Visual Support Technician located in Abu Dhabi. The Audio Visual Support Technician will be responsible providing technical support and maintenance for audio visual systems and equipment. This role includes diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing installations and configurations, and ensuring the optimal performance of AV systems.

Key Responsibilities

System Support & Maintenance

· Provide technical support for AV systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with hardware and software.

· Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure AV systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

· Respond to technical inquiries and provide on-site and remote support to clients.

Installation & Configuration:

· Install, configure, and test AV equipment such as projector /IT hardware/MS hub/ Signage /Room booking system /sound systems/ video conferencing systems, and control systems.

· Ensure proper cabling, wiring, and connectivity for all AV components.

Technical Expertise & Consultation:

· Recommend clients on AV solutions and provide recommendations based on their specific needs and requirements.

· Stay up to date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends to ensure clients receive the best possible service.

· Work closely with the sales and project management teams to deliver high-quality AV installations & AMC

Documentation & Reporting:

· Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and technical issues

· Provide detailed reports and documentation for AV setups, troubleshooting procedures, and system updates.

Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Audio Visual (AV) Systems and Troubleshooting
• Strong technical knowledge of AV systems, including audio, video, control systems, and network infrastructure, Projectors, video conferencing equipment’s, sound systems, PAVA, Signages
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with AV equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with specific AV brands and products (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Cisco, Polycom).
• Knowledge of network and IT systems as they relate to AV technology.
• Experience in Video Conferencing setups
