Automation And Navcom Engineer

Description:

· Lead the development and implementation of automation solutions for marine vessels, including propulsion, navigation, and control systems.

· Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate automation systems into vessel designs, ensuring seamless operation and performance.

· Manage a team of automation engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

· Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation systems, both remotely and onsite.

· Stay current with advancements in marine automation technology and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

· Coordinate with external vendors and partners to source components and equipment for automation systems.

· Develop and maintain documentation, including manuals, procedures, and specifications, related to automation systems.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in marine automation, with a proven track record of successful project management.

· Strong technical expertise in automation systems

· Knowledge of marine industry regulations and standards

· Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team.

· Ability to travel to various locations as needed for project installations and support.
