Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Baking: Prepare, bake, and decorate a range of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to standard recipes and customer requests.

•⁠ ⁠Recipe Management: Follow recipes and adjust ingredients as needed to ensure consistency and quality of products.

•⁠ ⁠Quality Control: Inspect and taste baked goods to ensure they meet quality and flavour standards; make adjustments as necessary.

•⁠ ⁠Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies; order and restock as needed.

•⁠ ⁠Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.

•⁠ ⁠Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

•⁠ ⁠Skills: Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients; excellent attention to detail and creativity.

•⁠ ⁠Experience: Previous experience without supervision as a baker is a must.

•⁠ ⁠Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

•⁠ ⁠Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; formal culinary training is a plus.
