Banquet Manager

 

Description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Banquet Manager to oversee the planning and execution of events in the banquet facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and leadership skills, ensuring seamless coordination of events and exceptional customer satisfaction. The Banquet Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of banquet operations, including staffing, logistics, and customer service.

 

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquets and events, including setup, décor, and audio-visual requirements.
  • Ensure all details are communicated to the relevant departments for seamless execution.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage banquet staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Create and manage work schedules for banquet personnel.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the banquet team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Logistics and Operations:

  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet spaces, ensuring they meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper staffing levels and availability of resources.
  • Manage inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.

Customer Service:

  • Interact with clients to address their needs and concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle and resolve any issues that may arise during events, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for banquet events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and cleanliness of banquet spaces.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of service and presentation.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in banquet management.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in banquet or event management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Familiarity with banquet software and technology.
