Description:

Position: Bookkeeper required

Location: Ajman, UAE

Experience: 2-3 years

Responsibilities:

  • Record financial transactions accurately on a daily basis.
  • Post debits and credits and ensure proper allocation.
  • Create and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Manage payroll activities, including salary calculations and benefit processing.
  • Maintain and balance books, reconcile financial statements and bank accounts.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
  • Monitor company expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Communicate financial information and resolve accounting-related queries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information with integrity.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and company policies.
