Description:
Position: Bookkeeper required
Location: Ajman, UAE
Experience: 2-3 years
Responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions accurately on a daily basis.
- Post debits and credits and ensure proper allocation.
- Create and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Manage payroll activities, including salary calculations and benefit processing.
- Maintain and balance books, reconcile financial statements and bank accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
- Communicate financial information and resolve accounting-related queries.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information with integrity.
- Adherence to ethical standards and company policies.
