Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Los Angeles, California. This role involves general bookkeeping responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing, and collections.
Responsibilities
- Accurately manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle invoicing activities and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Perform credit card reconciliations regularly to maintain accurate records.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for various bookkeeping activities.
- Conduct collections tasks when necessary to ensure all payments are received.
- Utilize Harest software for payroll and billable tasks.
- Assist in budgeting activities to ensure financial stability.
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate customer records.
- Conduct month-end close activities, ensuring all financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
- Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
- Extensive knowledge in Bookkeeping
- Proficient in Data Entry
- Must be skilled in using Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Month End Close
- Knowledge of Payroll procedures
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
