Key aspects of the role include:
- Lead innovation projects and be responsible for category assortment in terms of marketing plan implementation activities, general product support, training, and product knowledge.
- Manage portfolio and identify market opportunities to achieve improved profitability and a stronger position in the market.
- Drives brand strategy execution aligned between strategy and its local implementation by brand teams in the region.
- Developing a detailed plan of strategy execution including marketing tools, materials, and local activities to achieve successful launches and market brand positioning.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling the brand's performance in the region.
- Work closely with sales and marketing networks to ensure best practices, knowledge, and potential extended use of product variations.
- Conduct research and analyse data, market insights, and competitor activities.
To be successful you will need to meet the following:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or similar.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the coatings or specialty chemicals industry.
- Strong understanding of the Fire Protection, Heat Resistance, and Chemical Resistance product segments.
- Technical background and brand management experience is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights to make informed decisions.
