Business Development Manager

 

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving the growth of our product lines in household goods, tiles, solid surfaces, and building materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion and Prospecting:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UAE and international markets.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to promote our product offerings and secure new business.

Sales Strategy and Achievement:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitable and long-term partnerships.

Product and Market Expertise:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product lines, including household, tiles, solid surfaces, and building materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product innovations, and competitive products.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the marketing, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with regional offices in India and the USA to align business development strategies.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and sales progress.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the general trading or building materials industry.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the household, tiles, solid surfaces, and building materials markets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and client needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
