Responsibilities

 

As our Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth efforts, identifying and converting business opportunities for our award-winning exhibitions and corporate industry events. Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Achieving agreed event revenue goals through consultative sales strategies and long-term relationship development.
  • Identifying, cultivating, and maintaining business development opportunities within your assigned market segment.
  • Developing, planning, implementing, and executing tactics and programs in accordance with our business model and strategy across our entire portfolio, including events, exhibitions, and sponsorship programs.
  • Participating in local trade shows to gain exposure across target markets.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conducting market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and potential business prospects.
  • Creating and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborating with the design and project management teams to ensure client requirements are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Preparing and managing sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers to secure profitable business deals.

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of successful sales and business development in the exhibition stand fitting or events industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • A willingness to travel as required.
