Description:
Kepler General Trading Co LLC is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our dry food product line, including pasta, to restaurants and catering companies in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and identifying new business opportunities to grow our market share in the food sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to promote dry food products (e.g., pasta) to restaurants, catering companies, and other food service providers.
- Identify and target new business opportunities to expand Kepler’s client base in the UAE.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by generating leads and closing deals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring profitable business partnerships.
- Collaborate with the marketing and procurement teams to align product offerings with market demand.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the food industry (dry food products such as pasta, an advantage).
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships.
- Strong understanding of the food service industry, particularly in working with restaurants and catering companies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license.
