We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our client acquisition and partnership efforts. In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding Klimalogia’s global presence, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a proven track record of delivering results in business development or sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure new clients across diverse industries, showcasing Klimalogia’s comprehensive range of sustainability and climate solutions.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses, NGOs, and government bodies.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and develop strategies to position Klimalogia as a leader in the sustainability consultancy market.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to craft compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs.
- Revenue Growth: Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding revenue targets and KPIs.
- Brand Representation: Act as a Klimalogia ambassador, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and project delivery, to ensure seamless client experiences.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in sustainability, environmental consulting, or a similar field.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, ESG frameworks, and climate solutions – such as decarbonization and clean energy transition.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Networking: Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional networks.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and business growth.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess client needs and translate them into actionable business opportunities.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, start-up environment with a hands-on approach.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
