Description:
As a Business Development Specialist at our company, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for business growth. This role requires a combination of sales acumen, market research, relationship building, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and opportunities for expansion.
- Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and online research.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and client meetings.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Negotiation and Deal Closing: Engage in negotiations and assist in closing deals that align with the company's objectives.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Market Expansion: Identify and assess new market opportunities and potential business partners.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales and business development progress, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or BSC in Civil Engineer (MUST).
- Must have working knowledge in the Contracting or Construction field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of the construction market and its trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
- Proficiency in DM website, MBRHE website, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, as necessary.
