Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. This role requires a strong understanding of BI tools, data modeling, and analytics to support informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• BI Solution Development:

• Design and develop business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and reports, using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Create and optimize queries and data models to enable efficient reporting.

• Data Analysis and Visualization:

• Transform raw data into meaningful insights through data visualization and analysis.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.

• Data Integration and ETL:

• Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Integrate data from various sources into centralized BI systems.

• Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Partner with business units to define KPIs and metrics for reporting.

• Performance Optimization:

• Ensure BI solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and system integration.

• Documentation and Training:

• Document BI processes, data models, and reports for internal use.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption and usage of BI tools.

• Data Governance and Security:

• Adhere to data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Implement role-based access controls for sensitive information.

• Research and Innovation:

• Stay updated on the latest BI tools, technologies, and trends.
• Explore new ways to improve BI processes and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Solid understanding of analytics, KPIs, and business metrics.
