Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in procuring research and laboratory equipment, demonstrating a keen understanding of the technical specifications and market trends in this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management: Source, evaluate, and purchase research and laboratory equipment from domestic and international suppliers.

Supplier Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.

Compliance: Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Cost Management: Evaluate and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and maximize value.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, and procurement processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, preferably with a focus on research and laboratory equipment.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, including their specifications, functionalities, and market trends.

Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage supplier relationships and secure favorable terms.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, forecast demand, and make informed purchasing decisions.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in procurement processes and documentation.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
