Hiring Calibration Engineer
Location: Ajman, UAE
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, instruments, and tools used in our manufacturing processes are calibrated and maintained to meet the company’s high standards. The Calibration Engineer will work closely with our Quality and Technical teams to ensure that all equipment is calibrated, and any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Must be proficient in Dimension Scope
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive calibration program that meets ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Must have prior knowledge working on ULM or similar.
- Must have knowledge on Calibration of Calipers, Dial Gauges, Micrometers, Thread Gauges etc. to name a few.
- Conduct calibrations of various instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
- Manage calibration schedules and maintain calibration records to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with calibration vendors to ensure that equipment is calibrated to the required standards.
- Provide technical support to production and quality teams on calibration-related issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the calibration process and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in calibration engineering, preferably in a Dimension Scope.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, and other relevant calibration standards.
- Experience with calibration of various instruments and equipment, including dimensional, electrical, Pressure and Thermal instruments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
