Responsibilities

▪ This person will be responsible for leading a lean team that would focus on building company’s data scoring capabilities, as well as data analytics.

▪ Over the next 12 months, the individual would be focused on enhancing company's Scoring capabilities for its products ranging from short-term loans and device financing for MNOs, to SME lending reporting to the CFO.

▪ Post 12 months the data team would be spun out as an independent team reporting to the CEO and a Chief of Data will be appointed, based on performance this individual would have a great opportunity for career growth. This Job would have exposure across multiple markets across the continent and multiple industries.

▪ 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗶 𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼.

Qualifications

▪ Preference is the individual has experience using MNO data

▪ Must have strong communication, analytical and leadership skills.

▪ Must be a self starter. As this will be a very lean team the individual would need to focus on the macro and micro, that means thinking big picture but also able to do the actual tasks in the beginning as the company grows.
