Description:
Clinical Psychologist- Child and Adoloscent position in a specialist multidisciplinary clinical team committed to offering patient-centred, evidence based and compassionate care to international standards.
Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive psychological assessments, formulation and intervention service to young people, adults and their families.
- Conducting specialist psychometric assessments where appropriate.
- Applying evidence based clinical reasoning to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
- Providing assessments and treatment process in collaboration with multidisciplinary team of specialists
- Demonstrating advanced level skills in group facilitation and the use of creative therapeutic interventions
- Taking responsibility for an agreed clinical caseload, involving care co-ordination as appropriate
- Promoting the good reputation of the clinic and participate in service development tasks
- Ensuring compliance with applicable policies, regulations, rules, standards and governing laws
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational background in relevant discipline (Masters or PhD Level)
- 5+ years of experience in a clinical setting post qualification
- Skilled and experienced with varieties of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Family Systems Therapy, Grieve and Trauma Counselling, etc
- Recognized Board Certification
- DHA/ CDA licensed or meet licensure requirements
- Bi-lingual (English and Arabic proficiency)
