Cobol Developer

Description:

Our client is an established European software company specializing in Supply chain/ Logistics/ Warehouse Management Systems, and is looking to hire a dynamic and engaged Cobol Developer to be based in their Dubai Office.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, design and development of modifications using COBOL/400 (AS400 COBOL) or RPG/RPGLE and CL language.
• Design of displays and printer file layouts according to customer specifications.
• Analysis, design and development of both interactive and batch programs.
• Work in coordination with the global teams and customers to support the application and interfaces.
• Perform unit testing and coordination of UAT and resolve deficiencies for retest.
• Analysis and resolution of production issues relating to the application or the database.

Requirements

• Degree qualified
• Experience in warehouse management system projects is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Highly motivated, committed, team player
• Strong problem solving/ troubleshooting skills
