As a Communications and Community Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our brand's voice and fostering meaningful connections with our community.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Proven experience in communications, community management, or a related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision making.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Community Engagement: Cultivate a vibrant and active community around our brand. Actively engage with community members to build relationships and foster a sense of belonging.
  • Gather insights and feedback from the community to inform business decisions and improve offerings.
  • Content Creation and Management: create and curate engaging content (posts, discussions, newsletters, etc.) to stimulate conversation and interaction within the community and build awareness on MAKE’s offerings.
  • Social Media Management: Manage our social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others. Engage with our audience, monitor trends, and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Public Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other relevant stakeholders. Pitch stories, coordinate interviews, and manage press coveragew.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute community events, both online and offline, to facilitate meaningful interactions and strengthen connections.
  • Copywriting: Write compelling copy for various platforms, including all internal documents and marketing collateral. Ensure all copy is clear, concise, and aligned with brand identity and messaging guidelines.
  • Brand Advocacy: Identify and collaborate with brand advocates, influencers, and ambassadors to amplify our message and reach new audiences.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across communication channels. Use insights to refine strategies, optimize content, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Documentation: Work with external vendors such as photographers and videographers to create visual content that supports our brand's storytelling. Coordinate photo and video shoots, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Internal Communications: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal teams. Keep team members informed about key initiatives, updates, and milestones through internal channels.
  • Crisis Management: Act as a point of contact for managing communications during crises or sensitive situations. Respond swiftly and effectively to mitigate reputational risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with business objectives.
