Analyze transaction trends in customer accounts to identify potentially suspicious transactions from a financial crimes viewpoint and take appropriate actions.
Ensure quality, timeliness, and accuracy in reviewing customer transactions.
Efficiently identify and perform due diligence on red flags.
Obtain documentary proof of suspicious findings and maintain effective record-keeping of identified and reported suspicious transactions.
Prepare and clear Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and raise them in the CB-UAE portal.
Periodically review high-risk clients for potential suspicious activity.
Maintain a current understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal typologies, and developing trends.
Assist in identifying systemic control weaknesses related to the AML Unit.
Execute tasks and instructions from supervisors in a timely and efficient manner.

What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in an AML compliance role.
Strong analytical skills.
Computer literacy (Word, Excel).
Understanding of marketplace AML issues, typologies, and AML suspicious activity transactions.
Understanding of banking, payment systems, KYC requirements, and CB-UAE regulations on AML.
