Computer Aided Design Operator

Description:

We are looking for a skilled CAD Operator with proven experience in Gerber Software to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing CAD designs used in the apparel/textile industry. You will collaborate closely with designers, pattern makers, and the production team to ensure high-quality and precise execution of designs and patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

•Create and modify CAD patterns using Gerber Software.

•Responsible to analyse design concepts as per the customer measurements.

•Creating digital patterns for the inventory team with fabric utilisation and efficiency in production.

•Design the grading patterns for different sizes for the stitching team to follow.

•Ensure making of design changes as per the production efficiency and customer requirements.

•Ensuring the final design corrections to meet quality standards as per the brand guidelines.

•Creating technical packs, which include detailed instructions on how to produce the garment.

•Keeps self-updated on new patterns for work efficiency.

•Maintaining accurate records of all designs and patterns.

•Performs CAD related duties, as may be required, including guiding and assisting others in understanding patterns.

•Works on updates of the CAD software as a business requirement for enhancing work efficiency.

Qualifications :

•Proven experience as a CAD Operator in the apparel/textile industry.

•Expertise in Gerber Software.

•Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, and grading.

•Attention to detail and precision in handling designs and measurements.

•Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

•Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Experience:

•Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a CAD Operator in the fashion or textile industry.
