Consultant Architect

Description:

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Consulting Services Architect specialized in OpenStack and Ansible Automation to join our regional consulting practice teams. The primary responsibility of the Red Hat Architect is to passionately drive the adoption of Red Hat's solution in our key customers, and key system integrator partners. Through a series of interactions both in-person and remote, the Architect will win the trust and confidence of their engineering, development, and operations teams by aligning their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of the solution. The Architect will have thorough working knowledge and hands-on experience with OpenStack, Ansible based cloud infrastructures. Successful candidates will bring a wealth of industry experience and domain expertise to play a leading role in the design and project delivery of these business-critical solutions, and therefore will need a strong working knowledge of Automation and Cloud technologies.

The position is open to candidates based out of the UAE.

Responsibilities
 

• Winning the confidence of our prospective customers through the successful delivery of discovery, analysis, and design workshops that shape and influence the customer’s use cases and architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution.
• Designing and scoping delivery projects as well as leading consulting activities through successful customer pilot and production deployments within a team or as an individual contributor.
• The design, creation, and delivery of content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell (pre-sales), service (consulting) our solutions at scale.
• Work closely with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s products.
• Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk.
   

Skills
 

• Broad and deep technical experience with virtualization and cloud technologies (OpenStack), and infrastructure Automation (Ansible)
• Proven record of working in a strategic advisory capacity to senior business executives
• Knowledge of one or more communications service provider markets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of their time to customer locations throughout Gulf and the Middle East countries
