Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist position in a specialist multidisciplinary clinical team committed to offering patient-centred, evidence based and compassionate care to international standards.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat and manage mental health conditions and disorders in children and young people
• Provide assessments and treatment process in collaboration with multidisciplinary team of specialists
• Prescribe medication for management of a wide range of mental health problems including emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders
• Implement and co-coordinate a range of evidence-based interventions for children and young people to support their recovery
• Take responsibility for an agreed clinical caseload, involving care co-ordination as appropriate
• Promote the good reputation of the clinic and participate in service development tasks

Qualifications:

• Educational background in relevant medical discipline (MBBS)
• Certificate of completion of specialty training
• Board Certification from UK, US, Canada or Europe.
• DHA licensed or meet licensure requirements for DHA
• Bi-lingual (English and Arabic proficiency preferably)
